Does Carrd have multilingual support?
No. Carrd has no built-in translation or multilingual feature. There's no way to add language variants, locale routing, or a language switcher natively. OwOsy Translate adds this capability with a single Embed element.
Do I need Carrd Pro?
Yes. Carrd Pro ($19/year) is required because OwOsy Translate works via a script tag added as an Embed element. In the Carrd editor, click + to add an Embed, set Type to Code, paste your script, and set placement to Head.
How do I add the translation widget to Carrd?
In the Carrd editor, click the + button to add a new element. Select Embed, set Type to Code, paste the script tag from your OwOsy dashboard, and set placement to Head. Save and publish — the language switcher appears automatically.
Will this slow down my Carrd site?
No. The OwOsy widget is under 6KB gzipped and loads asynchronously. Translations are pre-cached on Cloudflare's edge network, so visitors get sub-50ms response times with no processing at visit time.
